Please refer to the Conference-Scope page for details on the technical focus and the major categories of interest. Any additional questions should be directed to the Technical Area Leaders listed above.

Interested authors should download the Submission-Guidelines and utilize the specified Abstract-Template when constructing manuscripts for submission to the conference.

All abstracts (oral and poster) are eligible for the
2008 ISSSR Best-Paper Awards Competition

Papers will be peer-reviewed and, if accepted, published in a Special Issue of the IEEE Sensors Journal in 2009.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As this is a U.S. Department of Defense affiliated conference a straightforward procedure for documenting the public-domain status of all submitted abstracts is being utilized. Specifically, all authors are required to submit a fully completed Manuscript Disclosure Authorization form - see FORM: 2008-ISSSR-MDA. Authors that have questions regarding these requirements should direct their questions to the conference organizers at admin@isssr.com.

IEEE SENSORS JOURNAL SPECIAL ISSUE: The conference organizers will be collecting full-paper manuscripts after the meeting (i.e., due date is August 1, 2008) for consideration to be published in the IEEE Sensors Journal as a Special Issue on "Enhancement Algorithms, Methodologies and Technology for Spectral Sensing." All authors that successfully present at the 2008 ISSSR Conference are strongly encouraged to submit full-paper manuscripts according to the format and procedures as described in the Official IEEE Sensors Journal CALL-FOR-PAPERS CALL-FOR-PAPERS. This same information is also available at the IEEE Sensors Journal website.
